AUSTIN, Texas -- LibreDigital, a division of NewsStand, Inc., today announced that it has opened a regional office in London. The move comes as a response to a growing demand for the LibreDigital Warehouse solution for publishers. The Company also announced today that it has named two new management team members, including the appointment of Todd Eckler to vice president of North America Sales and Ernst Kallus to vice president of European Sales.

Todd Eckler joins LibreDigital from North Plains Systems Corporation, where he served as senior vice president helping to set product strategy and to grow the company's sales revenues to over $12 million by selling software systems to publishers, including many of the top names in book publishing book publishing. The term publishing means, in the broadest sense, making something publicly known. Usually it refers to the issuing of printed materials, such as books, magazines, periodicals, and the like. . Ernst Kallus comes to LibreDigital from Value Chain International / Digital Publishing Solutions Ltd (DPSL), where he most recently served as General Manager of Europe, helping the company triple its revenues in just over two years. Mr. Kallus previously served in management positions at The Kappa Consultancy and Realise Group in the UK.
