DENVER -- Liberty Global, Inc. ("Liberty Global") (Nasdaq: LBTYA) (Nasdaq: LBTYB)(Nasdaq: LBTYK) today announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of Karneval, the second largest cable operator in the Czech Republic Czech Republic, Czech Česká Republika (2005 est. pop. 10,241,000), republic, 29,677 sq mi (78,864 sq km), central Europe. It is bordered by Slovakia on the east, Austria on the south, Germany on the west, and Poland on the north. , for a purchase price, before direct acquisition costs, of [euro]322.5 million (approximately US$428.3 million) on a zero net debt basis.
