Liberty Bonds to help finance DeNiro hotel.

The New York Liberty The New York Liberty is a Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) team based in New York City. They are one of the eight original WNBA teams that began to see action in 1997, as well one of the most successful teams in WNBA history.  Development Corporation authorized the issuance of up to $38.9 million in Liberty Bonds, which are exempt facility revenue bonds authorized by Congress under the Job Creation and Worker Assistance Act of 2002. The bonds are expected to be issued in mid December.

The full-service Downtown Hotel will be constructed on a 10,000 square foot parcel of land and is anticipated to be comprised of six floors above grade and a penthouse penthouse
