Liberal government finances homosexual activists.

Ottawa--EGALE (Equality for Gays and Lesbians Everywhere), the group that fought the court cases resulting in the legalization of same-sex unions in six provinces, has posted on its website that the cases are funded by the Chretien--and now Paul Martin--Liberal government-sponsored Court Challenges Program (CCP). The CCP was established in 1984 to provide financial assistance for "important court cases" dealing with language and equality issues. Neither EGALE nor the CCP itself is required to divulge either the amount or the frequency of its funding.

REAL Women of Canada has been tracking which organizations are funded by CCP Besides EGALE, they include Planned Parenthood, Lesbian and Gay Immigration Task Force, Pro-Choice Action Network and Pride Care Society.

REAL Women also discovered that homosexual groups engage in "double dipping," that is, collecting money from more than one government source at a time. At one time EGALE received funding from both the Status of Women and the CCP.
