Double trouble! After 30 hours of labor and five days of recovery time, first-time mom Ashley Ryan is enjoying two little bundles of joy, both with full heads of hair and faces loaded with character. “They don’t look like shriveled little people,” said Ms. Ryan, 28, a buyer for Talbots clothing. “They came out looking … fully cooked.” The father is Patrick Ryan, 30, a senior vice president at Yardville National Bank in New Jersey. The family has their eyes set on a house in the Princeton, N.J., area, but for the moment, they’re living in a Noho one-bedroom. “It’s going to be a tight squeeze,” Ms. Ryan said. And Dad wants five more kids—“a little softball team!” Ms. Ryan griped. “I don’t want to end up on the street with a triple stroller.”
