More than 200 employees from New Providence-based LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell The Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory is one of the oldest and best-known catalogues of lawyers in the United States.

Its history begins with two separate publications, the Martindale Directory and Hubbell's Legal Directory.
 will participate in a variety of upcoming community events as volunteer workers for two prominent New Jersey non-profit organizations.

The special volunteer opportunities are part of the RE Cares program, a unique corporate initiative from Reed Elsevier Group plc, a world-leading business publishing company and parent of LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell.

On August 24th, August 26th and September 8th, Martindale-Hubbell's employees will volunteer to help out the Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey and The Community FoodBank of New Jersey. The Boys & Girls Clubs events (August 24th and 26th) will include an "Olympic Day" with various games for the kids, a carnival and cookout, and various beautification beau·ti·fy

 projects at six different clubs in the North-Central New Jersey area. The Community FoodBank event (September 8th) will consist of a special work day for sorting and packing food items, clothing and school supplies.

The two organizations are among the largest charitable groups in the state. The Boys & Girls Clubs serve more than 85,500 youth statewide and The Community FoodBank annually assists charities serving more than 500,000 people in need throughout New Jersey.

"Our employees were simply asked to select a paid work day on which they would like to volunteer to help out with one of the events planned for the date they had in mind, then we asked them to give a portion of that day to the charities and enjoy the remainder of it with their own families," said Paul Gazzolo, chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)
