Feldstein, president of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation since 1986, has announced plans to step down from the post in June 2010. The foundation's board of directors appointed a search committee to find his successor. Under Feldstein's leadership, the foundation became the largest funder of nonprofit organizations in northern New England, with assets growing from $25 million in 1986 to $375 million in 2008.
