Levin begins renovation at Spruce Office Center in NJ.

Construction is underway on a major renovation at 1001 Spruce Office Center, a two-story, 130,000 square-foot facility located on Spruce Street near Princeton Avenue in Ewing, NJ.

The building is part of a mixed-use development which includes the Capitol Plaza Shopping Center. Levin Management Corporation is handling the project as managing agent and construction manager for the building, which is owned by Levin Properties. Stephen M. Segal, Inc. of Lawrenceville, NJ, serves as exclusive leasing agent.

Slated for completion this summer, the renovation includes a new facade, a two-story arched entryway and brick accents, and new perimeter windows throughout the space. Inside, Levin Management is creating a totally new lobby, with first-class finishes and new elevators. The firm is replacing and upgrading the HVAC and electrical systems as well, to meet today's requirements.

Exterior improvements include new landscaping and signage, the creation of a recreational area with walking paths and picnic tables, and the resurfacing and striping of the parking lot.
