Levin Management marks 50th anniversary. (New Jersey).

Levin Management Corporation recently marked its 50th anniversary with completion of a major renovation and expansion at its headquarters building on Route 22 West in North Plainfield. The project enlarged Levin's office space by more than 60 percent while updating the offices that the retail property management firm has occupied since 1952.

Levin's in-house construction team managed the work, which added a second story to the building and increased its total size from 8,210 to 13,240 SF. The addition complements the existing architecture, including a brick-faced facade that projects a seamless extension of the original structure's brick exterior. The new space includes six private offices, a number of partitioned workspaces, a conference room and an elevator. Levin also updated the finishes on the first floor and completed minor space reconfigurations to improve traffic flow. Outside, the firm expanded and repaved its parking area.

The Route 22 West building houses Levin's leasing, marketing, construction, tenant coordination, risk management, and legal and accounting services. The teams work closely together to service the firm's nearly 10 million-SF portfolio, managed on behalf of individual, fiduciary and institutional owners. This includes some 80 properties ranging from neighborhood strip centers to power center of more than 400,000 SF. Levin Management Corporation continues to grow its presence in the northeast and mid-Atlantic states, including New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina.
