Levien lands church project management contract.


Levien & Company has been selected by the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society of the Protestant Episcopal Church Protestant Episcopal Church: see Episcopal Church.  in the USA to serve as the project manager for the major renovation of the Episcopal Church Episcopal Church, Anglican church of the United States.  Center at 815 Second Avenue, announces Kenneth Levien, AIA AIA - Application Integration Architecture , the firm's president.

Work on the interior renovation of the 11-story, 125,000 s/f building began November 2004, with completion scheduled for December 2005 for the Church's offices, and March 2006 for the lobby and leasable space.

The facility includes a bookstore and chapel on the ground level, and archives storage and administrative offices on the remaining floors. There will also be two and a half floors prepared of leasable office space for tenants.

Josh Pomerantz, project manager of the renovation for Levien & Co. siad, "The facility needs to be fully modernized to meet the changing business needs of the Church."

Added Pamela Holzapfel, project executive for Levien & Co., "The project will be completed in four phases and will require relocating staff to temporary offices within the building as each phase is built.
