WE'VE GOT MAIL!

Sealed with a Kiss

I love my Valentine's Day Valentine's Day: see Saint Valentine's Day.

" and "The Giving Spree" is great! Thanks especially for "The Giving Spree" because it helped me decide on a foolproof gift for my guy!

Lindsey

"Kiss-or-Miss Soiree" is the best! It makes me feel much more confident about my shy self and gives great advice on how not to get caught in the middle of a total smooch-fest.

have stories on eating disorders eating disorders, in psychology, disorders in eating patterns that comprise four categories: anorexia nervosa, bulimia, rumination disorder, and pica. Anorexia nervosa is characterized by self-starvation to avoid obesity. , and I've read most of them. However, GL is not like any other teen mag out there. "Amy's Story" [F/M '02] shows anorexia as a disease that can affect anyone--even someone you might think is perfect, inside and out. I hope Amy is still doing OK and keeps telling her story.

Bella

"Amy's Story" saved me from a horrible mistake. After reading about eating disorders, I now realize the dangers of starving myself. I had already started down that dark path. Thanks for the bright light to bring me back.

Fab Fiction

I love the story "Common Grounds This article or section needs sources or references that appear in reliable, third-party publications. Alone, primary sources and sources affiliated with the subject of this article are not sufficient for an accurate encyclopedia article. " [F/M '02]. Not every girl has a boyfriend, and I think it's cool how Mara shows us you don't need a boy to have fun on Valentine's Day.

Breana

Memorable Mandy

The Hangin' With featuring Mandy Moore [F/M '02] is great! I love Mandy Moore, her music and the movie The Princess Diaries, which she was in last summer. I can't wait to see A Walk to Remember next!

Amelia

Amazing Athlete

Thanks for including "Against All Odds" in your F/M '02 Short Stuff section. McKayla is not only an inspiring athlete but an amazing girl. She makes me realize how lucky I am for everything I have. Thanks for including McKayla because she deserves to be recognized for her accomplishments.

Beauty Booty

I love "GL's Best Beauty Bets" in the F/M '02 issue! Now, I know where to go for all my fave fave   Informal

beauty must-haves. I especially love Tony&Tina's Sparkle in Evolution. I had my mom order it for me off the Web site. Thanks!

Opposing Opinions

I disagree with Verb 1. disagree with - not be very easily digestible; "Spicy food disagrees with some people"
hurt - give trouble or pain to; "This exercise will hurt your back"
your Short Stuff article "Fighting For Her Rights" [F/M '02]. I think it's great Katie is standing up for what she believes in, but she has no right to try to persuade her peers. If she goes around telling people war is wrong and preaches on the errors of our president, she might as well be telling them what religion to believe in.

A reader

Thanks for "Fighting For Her Rights" because my friends and family have been criticizing me for not agreeing with war. Katie is right, and she is a very brave girl for standing up for what she believes in--no matter what the consequences.

I love the fashion spread "It's a Denim World After All" [F/M '02], but I tried going to www.denimdreamworld.com, and it won't come up. Am I doing something wrong? Is it a real Web site?

Kelsey

Sorry about the mix-up, girls. Denimdreamworld.com is not a real Web site. We repeat, denimdreamworld.com is not a real site. It's supposed to just be a fun fashion feature, showing really cool denim clothes. Sorry for the confusion.

"In Search Of..." [F/M '02] helped me with a terrible sitch. I moved two years ago, and my BFF and I phoned and emailed a couple times. After a while, we kind of forgot about each other. Thanks to your article, I tracked down my BFF and caught up on old times. I'm visiting her next month.

Zipped Lips

Your "Groovy groov·y

groovi·ness n.
Gossip Gauge" quiz [F/M '02] isn't very good. It says stuff like, "It's time to let the lips cut loose. You could be missing out on a lot of major girl-bonding time." If some girls bond by gossiping, then they need some new friendships.
