Dear Editor:

I just read CAPT Collins' President's Message in the November issue and found myself smiling and chuckling in recognition. So often the President's Message is on the heavy side. It was refreshing to read a column in which both the author and the reader (if she or he is an environmental health professional) are laughing at themselves. Thank you for the delight and for the lesson in avoiding hubris Hubris

An arrogance due to excessive pride and an insolence toward others. A classic character flaw of a trader or investor.
.

Best wishes,

American anatomist who isolated four pituitary hormones and discovered vitamin E (1922).
