The Mail also deserves thanks for running regular stories on the appeal.
Over the past two years, we have been working to raise at least pounds 250,000 to help us run five local centres, including the Birmingham Community Children's Centre in Winson Green Winson Green is a loosely-defined area in the west of the city of Birmingham, England. It is part of the ward of Soho.
It is the location of HM Prison Birmingham (known locally as Winson Green Prison or "the Green") and City Hospital (formerly Dudley Road Hospital). , that are making a real difference to over 1,300 children and young people with disabilities.
The appeal has now ended and thanks to the generosity and support of local people, it has raised a wonderful pounds 305,000.
Businesses based in the Birmingham area have also played a huge role in this success.
