Letter: Glimpses of God; Voice of the North.

WHO can shed light on how we picture God, a Voice of the North correspondent asked recently. This question was answered in the Epistle of John, which tells us: "God is a spirit and is to be worshipped with spirit and truth."

God is also a scientist. Consider the explanation of the rain cycle in the Book of Ecclesiastes or the description of the Earth as a circle in Isaiah, long before the days of Columbus. Who told the Prophet Isaiah that the Earth was round?
