I have learned, however, that I can't use the autoinjector and rotate injection sites as recommended in the product literature. When my husband would inject my arms or buttocks buttocks /but·tocks/ (but´oks) the two fleshy prominences formed by the gluteal muscles on the lower part of the back. , the process was painful for both of us. So, I decided to put aside the autoinjector and use a regular syringe. To my surprise, the process is easier than I had thought. I'm able to inject in all sites and spare my husband the task of assisting me. I have now planned out my shot schedule for a whole year so that I can rotate to all sites without duplicating injections in the same area. I rarely bruise bruise
 or contusion

Visible bluish or purplish mark beneath the surface of unbroken skin, indicating burst blood vessels in deeper tissue layers. Bruises are usually caused by a blow or pressure, but they may occur spontaneously in elderly persons.
