Harbour Island Harbour Island is an island and administrative district in the Bahamas. Harbour Island is set off the north east coast of Eleuthera Island. The principal city is Dunmore Town.  is receiving major buzz as the new Bahamian hot spot and a gay couple is at the nexus of the transformation, J. Wallace Tutt and his partner, Don Purdy, have renovated a property that includes the historic early 1940s Rock House Hotel, an adjacent school, and a former jail.
