Let's go to San Diego ... (For Openers).

I just finished looking at the agenda for the 2003 Agri-Marketing Conference & Trade Show to be held in April. It looks very informative, with professional presenters from wide and varied backgrounds.

Agriculture is experiencing a remarkable change of pace. These words have been spoken before, but never with greater meaning than now, given the events of the past few years and those anticipated in the next couple of years. I believe this is what they call a `sea change'.

I encourage you to attend this year's NAMA conference in San Diego to join the dialogue that will prepare us for these significant changes. Please go to the NAMA section within this issue to see a detailed agenda and discussion of this year's conference. And plan to arrive a day early to enjoy the balmy weather and attend the ABEF golf outing.
