Lester J. Burlingame, Sr., 62.

CHARLTON Lester J. Burlingame, Sr., 62, of 200 A Freeman Rd., passed away Monday, October 29, 2007 in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge.

He leaves his wife of 43 years, Gloria M. (Kudron) Burlingame; one son, Lester J. Burlingame, Jr. and his wife Jill of East Brookfield; one daughter, Lois Burlingame of Worcester; and 6 grandchildren. Mr. Burlingame also leaves several brothers and sisters, and many nieces and nephews.

Lester was born in Charlton son of Aaron and Gladys (Manthorne) Burlingame and lived here all his life. He worked for 25 years for Saint Gobain Co. in Worcester and retired in January.

There are no calling hours and funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: The American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. The Robert J. Miller-Charlton Funeral Home, 175 Old Worcester Rd. is assisting the Burlingame family with arrangements.
