Hidrock Realty announced the following transactions: * Cohen's Fashion Optical has signed a lease for 1,800 s/f of retail space at 30-42 Steinway Street in Astoria, NY. Matthew E. Dweck and Nathan J. Azizo of Hidrock Realty represented both the landlord and the tenant in the transaction. * Magnet Media signed a 5,000 s/f lease for the entire 12th floor at 12 West 27th Street. Robert Kaplan of Hidrock Realty represented the tenant in the transaction while the landlord was represented by Mark S. Stein of Meringoff Properties. * Sculptor Mary Vaccaro, signed a three years lease at 548 West 28th Street, a 19th century former industrial building. Asking rents are currently $30 psf.. Norman Shabot, senior leasing director for Hidrock Realty, represented the tenant. Jim Pastreich of Mariner's Gate represented the building. * Lab49 leased 5,510 s/f, the entire 20th floor, at 11 Broadway.
