Business Editors

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 5, 2001

Corbis announced today the appointment of Leslie Hughes as president of the company's newly formed Markets and Products Group.

The group represents the consolidation of three formerly separate business units -- professional licensing, consumer, and business communicator -- under a single brand strategy, giving Hughes responsibility for all of Corbis' revenue centers as well as corporate marketing, commercial and editorial photography and customer service.

Formerly the president of Corbis Images, the company's professional licensing division, Hughes will continue to drive the company's dramatic growth in that segment, while also working to ensure the company's success in the consumer and business communication markets.
