Lenovo Offers ThinkPad and Lenovo Notebook PCs at Circuit City.


RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. -- Lenovo (Lenovo, Purchase, NY, www.lenovo.com) Asia's largest PC manufacturer, founded in China in 1984 by Liu Chuanzhi from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In the late 1980s, the company, first known as Legend, introduced a circuit board that generated Chinese characters on Western-made PCs and launched China into the personal computer age. Its Pentium-based Conet PC in the late 1990s came bundled with a modem and access to the Internet. today announced that select Lenovo PCs are now available for purchase in nearly 700 Circuit City stores across the U.S. and online at www.circuitcity.com.

IBM's ThinkPad has been popular since its inception and has introduced innovative features, such as the TrackPoint pointing stick and TrackWrite keyboard.
 T60 widescreen and Lenovo N100 notebook PCs in select Circuit City stores, online at www.circuitcity.com or by phone at 1-800-843-2489. In addition to these models, Circuit City will offer the Lenovo C200 notebook PCs plus different configurations of the Lenovo N100 notebook and ThinkPad T60 widescreen PCs to customers shopping online or by phone. This offering is targeted to meet the needs of the small-to-medium business, very-small business and individual business professional.

The ThinkPad T60 widescreen PC, weighing only 5.1 pounds, is the lightest 15.4-inch widescreen notebook PC among the top five PC vendors(1). Featuring Lenovo's award-winning ThinkVantage Technologies, the ThinkPad T60 widescreen provides extra screen real estate for easier online shopping, Web browsing, digital photography manipulation, video presentation development and DVD movie viewing.

The Lenovo N100 notebook PC with Lenovo Care productivity tools is engineered specifically for small business customers. The system includes the latest in wireless and multimedia features for enhanced PC connectivity and an improved viewing experience. Featuring next-generation WiFi technology, the Lenovo N100 notebook PC enables faster connectivity and greater wireless range than PCs set with previous standards.
