Lehman silent on WFC report.


Silence was the only response from the parties involved in the Lehman Brothers Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. (NYSE: LEH), founded in 1850, is a diversified, global financial services firm. It is a participant in investment banking, equity and fixed income sales, research and trading, investment management, private equity, and private banking.  Holdings, Inc. new lease at 1 World Financial Center.

 published reports, the company has agreed to take 500,000 SF of space at the building for expansion purposes, for the asking Adv. 1. for the asking - on the occasion of a request; "advice was free for the asking"

 price of approximately $55 per SF. Insignia/ESG was sited as the broker for the tenant in the transaction.

The companies involved in the deal declined to comment, however, noting only that an official announcement is going to be made in a few days. Ed Hogan, of Brookfield Properties Brookfield Properties Corporation TSX: BPO NYSE: BPO is a Toronto-based North American commercial real estate company. Brookfield Asset Management owns 50% of its outstanding common shares.  Corp., the managing agent for the building, admitted that a deal with Lehman Brothers was in the works, but would not disclose any particulars of the transaction, referring all calls to Brookfield's public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most  agent. Peter Rosenthal, the spokesperson for Brookfield Properties Corp., the owner of 1 World Financial Center, said that the company has no comment at the present moment, but "an announcement is pending."

Insignia/ESG declined to comment on the deal as well, and Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc. did not return calls.
