Lehman Brothers Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. (NYSE: LEH), founded in 1850, is a diversified, global financial services firm. It is a participant in investment banking, equity and fixed income sales, research and trading, investment management, private equity, and private banking.  announced that P. Sheridan Schechner will be joining the firm's Real Estate Investment Banking Division as a managing director. Schechner will lead the division's real estate sponsor coverage.

Schechner brings over 20 years of real estate banking experience to Lehman Brothers. Most recently, he was the national head of Mortgage Origination at JPMorgan. In 1984, Schechner began his career at Goldman Sachs, where he eventually served as co-head of the Real Estate Investment Banking business.

Schechner holds a Juris Doctor The degree awarded to an individual upon the successful completion of law school.
