Former Actel CFO Brings More Than 25 Years of Semiconductor

Industry Financial Leadership to Legerity

Legerity, the proven communication IC company, today announced that Hank Perret has joined the company as vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer.

Perret, who will oversee Legerity's financial, information technology, legal and human resources functions, brings more than 25 years of financial management experience in the semiconductor industry to Legerity's executive team.

Perret comes to Legerity from Actel Corporation (Nasdaq:ACTL), a leading supplier of programmable logic solutions, where he served as vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer. In addition to managing Actel's finances, he directed the company's investor relations, human resources, information technology, facilities and purchasing operations, with a strong focus on strategic and financial planning, process improvements, and merger and acquisition activities.

Prior to his five-year tenure at Actel, Perret was site controller for Applied Material's manufacturing division in Austin, Texas. In that role, he led all financial activities of Applied Material's largest manufacturing division and successfully orchestrated the division's relocation from Santa Clara, Calif., to Austin. Previously he spent 12 years with National Semiconductor in a variety of financial roles, including divisional controllerships, worldwide wafer fab financial responsibility, and controller positions in remote manufacturing plants. Perret holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting, from San Jose State University.
