Legerity Appoints Kazuhiko Osada as Country Manager for Japan Office; Semiconductor Industry Veteran Chosen to Oversee Legerity's Sales in Japan.

Legerity, a leading provider of analog/mixed-signal ICs for voice and data networks, today announced that it has named Kazuhiko Osada as Country Manager for Japan.

As Legerity's top executive in Japan, Osada is responsible for Legerity's Japanese business operations Business operations are those activities involved in the running of a business for the purpose of producing value for the stakeholders. Osada has more than 15 years of experience in the sales and marketing of IC products in the Japanese market. Prior to joining Legerity, Osada was Vice President of Japan sales for Xicor. During his four years at Xicor, Osada built and managed the Xicor's sales and applications team in Japan, driving design wins and sales revenues for the company's analog/mixed-signal product line. Previously, Osada built a successful 28-year career at Toshiba, where he held numerous key roles, including IC Engineering for Toshiba's Kawasaki Division, Director of ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) Pronounced "a-sick." A chip that is custom designed for a specific application rather than a general-purpose chip such as a microprocessor.  Marketing in Toshiba's California Division, and General Manager of the Mikawa Branch, responsible for selling communication and RISC processors to key Japanese customers.
