Worldwide radio legend Rick Dees will host the "Rising Stars 50th Anniversary Gala" for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles and the Inland Empire (BBSGLAIE), honoring top talent from the entertainment industry on Friday, November 11, 2005, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

The awards honor outstanding members of the entertainment community who are inspiring and positive role models for young people. Richard Cook, Chairman of the Board of The Walt Disney Studios The name Walt Disney Studios may refer to:

, will receive the Walt Disney Award. Sherry Lansing, Co-Founder, Big Brothers Big Sisters Future Fund, will receive the Legacy Award for her support of many philanthropic causes. In addition, actress Dakota Fanning; actor/writer/producer and recording artist Nick Cannon; and recording artist and actress Renee Olstead, co-star of the CBS (Cell Broadcast Service) See cell broadcast.  hit series, "Still Standing," are set to receive this year's Rising Star Awards.

Honorary dinner chair of the event is Roy E.
