Microsoft's `Designed for Microsoft BackOffice' logo enables customers to quickly identify applications designed to work with the Microsoft BackOffice integrated family of server software.

Independent testing was conducted to verify that Legato NetWorker conforms to the guidelines set forth to qualify for the logo program. Legato NetWorker for Windows NT met the requirements for the tests, as it is fully functional in a stressed Windows NT-server environment, is installable using Microsoft Systems Management Server, conforms with Windows NT authentication, and externalizes storage management events to the Windows NT event log.

Legato Systems also announced today that its Legato NetWorker BusinesSuite Module for Microsoft Exchange version 1.1 received Microsoft BackOffice Logo certification. Legato NetWorker BusinesSuite Module for Exchange provides high performance storage management services for Microsoft Exchange servers.
