Legato Announces Opening of New Product Development Center in Ontario, Canada.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. & BURLINGTON, Canada--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 2001

Legato Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:LGTO), a worldwide leader in enterprise storage management today announced the grand opening of the company's newest facility in Burlington, Ontario. Legato Systems (Canada) is the hub for Legato's technical support operations worldwide, as well as a major center for Legato product development.

With the move to 1111 International Boulevard in December 2000, Legato has made a substantial investment in the Burlington location, developing a high-availability infrastructure that includes a complete product education and demonstration center for customers. This center will showcase the benefits of using Legato software to keep the world's business-critical information available.
