LegacyJ and CAMIS Announce Distribution Agreement Solutions To Bridge the Capabilities of COBOL and Java Technology.

LegacyJ Corp. of Pleasanton, California and CAMIS Co., Ltd. of Seoul, Korea announced today a distribution agreement for LegacyJ products in Korea, Indonesia and Japan.

CAMIS Co., Ltd. is a respected e-business software provider, specializing in legacy modernization tools that include: CASE tools, ERP offerings, IT infrastructure consulting for Korea, Japan, Indonesia and other parts of Asia. LegacyJ is the developer of software tools that bridge the capabilities of COBOL and Java technology.

CAMIS will distribute LegacyJ's products including PERCobol and BlueJ.

LegacyJ PERCobol contains rich COBOL compile and execution functionality to support COBOL programs written with most popular COBOL compilers. PERCobol accesses many of traditional COBOL file types and databases across a wide variety of operating platforms. PERCobol enables users to create truly platform independent graphical user interfaces and allows these GUIs to morph consistent with other interfaces present on the host platform. COBOL applications can be deployed as web server applications, as applets or any combination of Server/Client application.

LegacyJ BlueJ is used to create independent graphical user interfaces for COBOL and Java programs. Because of BlueJ multi-lingual capabilities it can be used to develop or redeploy applications using a scripting syntax that is comfortable for new or legacy programmers.
