Economic Development Corporation has presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to R. Randy Lee, Esq. co-founder of the Staten Island-based law firm Lee & Amtzis, LLP LLP - Lower Layer Protocol and residential development company Leewood Real Estate Group, for his philanthropic efforts to improve the borough of Staten Island. SIEDC's annual ceremony to present the award was held on Tuesday, December 6th at Tavern on the Green Tavern on the Green is a restaurant located in Central Park, New York City. Of the several dining rooms, the most famous is the Crystal room with windows overlooking the garden. . "It is a great honor to receive this award from the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation," said Lee. "Having lived and worked in Staten Island all my life, I have always taken pride in this borough. I will continue to do whatever I can to make Staten Island the best it can be, as the SIEDC SIEDC Scheme for Integrated Education of Disabled Children does every day. I am truly grateful to be presented this award. And I'm thankful to the SIEDC for all of their efforts to make Staten Island a great place to live and work." In addition to developing over 1,000 homes on Staten Island, many affordable condominiums and apartments, as well as several retail sites, Lee has furthered the economic development efforts of the borough through his involvement with SIEDC since its creation in the early 1990's. He serves as executive vice chairman of its board of directors. Lee's philanthropic efforts on Staten Island include helping many non-profit organizations, such as the Jewish Community Center of Staten Island, Project Hospitality and Community Agency for Senior Citizens, to achieve their goals. In addition to his professional affiliations, Lee also has been involved in various senior capacities with the Urban Affordable Housing Coalition, the New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of State Affordable Housing Association and the New York State Title Attorneys Bar Association. Cesar Claro, executive director of the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation, said, "We are delighted to present the Lifetime Achievement Award to Randy Lee. His dedication, personality and expertise are assets for which Staten Island is grateful. The SIEDC appreciates Lee's many contributions to both the economy and the people of Staten Island."
