Mary Junck, Lee chairman and chief executive officer, said Dehli will work with Lee's 58 daily newspapers, as well as with Lee's 100-plus weekly newspapers, to provide leadership and resources to help them deliver strong local news and quality journalism to their growing online and print audiences. We're delighted to have her as our vice president for news." Dehli succeeds David Stoeffler, who has taken a leave of absence from the company for personal considerations. As director of editorial development since April 2005, Dehli has been responsible for Lee's journalism training programs and providing other support to its newsrooms. She joined the corporate team in October 2004 as editorial training manager, a position in which she helped many Lee newsrooms improve their enterprise journalism and planning processes. Previously, she was managing editor of the Wisconsin State Journal The Wisconsin State Journal is a daily newspaper published in Madison, Wisconsin by Capital Newspapers.
