The next Lebanese cabinet is expected to be formed between October 15 and October 20, or the next cabinet will be formed after the Iraqi general elections, columnist Omar Habanjar said Monday in the local daily AL ANWAR. He said the first date, October 15, is that of the departure of Lebanese President Michel Suleiman to Spain on an official visit. October 20 is the date of the opening of the regular session of the Lebanese parliament. If the cabinet is not formed by then (October 20,) the formation will be postponed until after the Iraqi elections, due to take place on December 10, the columnist predicted. Habanjar added that these deadlines were "crucial" for Lebanon.
