"I am pleased with the backing offered by MPs, mayors and other leaders to Akkar's youth. The US support to Lebanon, a segment of which you're seeing here today, is stable, committed, ongoing and will not stop," the daily reported Sison as saying in an address to participants and event attendees. Sison further added that the USAID project highlighted the abilities of Akkar's youth to communicate, sacrifice and take initiatives towards achieving their goals and becoming leaders in the society they aim for.
