US Envoy Sison: Our Commitment to Lebanon Is Solid, Permanent

US Ambassador to Lebanon Michele Sison renewed her country's pledge to support Lebanon during an event in the northern district of Akkar on Sunday, AN NAHAR daily reported. The occasion, attended by a number of Lebanese MPs and mayors from neighboring towns, was sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development The United States Agency for International Development (or USAID) is the U.S. government organization responsible for most non-military foreign aid. "I am pleased with the backing offered by MPs, mayors and other leaders to Akkar's youth.
