Forest City Ratner Companies announced that Bear Stearns The Bear Stearns Companies, Inc. (NYSE: BSC) is the parent company of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., one of the largest global investment banks and securities trading and brokerage firms in the world.  Companies Inc. has signed a 20-year, 290,000 SF renewal lease at its MetroTech Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. MaryAnn Gilmartin, of Forest City Ratner, served as an in-house representative for the landlord. David W. Levinson, chairman of Insignia/ESG, represented the tenant.

The Durst Organization announced that Westchester Fire Insurance Company has signed an 88,000 SF expansion lease at 1133 Ave. of the Americas in New York City New York City: see New York, city.

. Thomas Bow, senior vice president of leasing with the Durst Organization, served as an in-house agent for the landlord. Martin Horner, of the Staubach Company, represented the tenant.

Austin Corporate Properties announced that Sound Federal Savings has signed a 14,000 SF lease at Parker Corporate Center in White Plains, N.Y. Carl Austin, of Austin Corporate, represented the landlord in the transaction. Jack Pancaldo, of All American Capital, represented the tenant.

Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC announced that Fleet Bank has signed a 3,700 SF lease at 425 Lexington Ave. in New York City. Karen Bellantoni, senior managing director of RKF RKF Rapid Knowledge Formation , and Robert Futterman, chief executive officer, represented the landlord, Sumitomo Life Realty, in the transaction.
