. The lease now becomes part of an ongoing lawsuit, Barnes-Wallace v. City of San Diego, brought by the ACLU ACLU: see American Civil Liberties Union. on behalf of a lesbian couple and an agnostic couple whose sons are barred from participating in Scout activities on the public park land because of the BSA's discriminatory policies. In granting the ACLU's motion to amend the lawsuit, Magistrate Judge Anthony Battaglia also made the national BSA 1. BSA - Business Software Alliance. 2. BSA - Bidouilleurs Sans Argent. a party to the lawsuit," which is expected to go to trial in spring 2003.
