Learning Center For All Ages Opens In Nanuet, New York; Facility Features the Latest in Interactive, Multimedia Systems.

The importance of education is one of the major themes being stressed by both candidates in this year's presidential election.

 Jason Friedman views the center as an important institution and a great way to reach out to the community. Therefore, the District is funding some of the programs. The same support is being provided by the Town of Ramapo and its supervisor, Herb Reisman.

The center contains a wide variety of innovative computer-based learning systems developed and manufactured by Multimedia K.I.D. Inc. (Nasdaq: MKID), headquartered in Israel.

, in Nanuet, occupies a 4,500 square foot facility, which houses numerous Multimedia K.I.D. learning systems, including MyK.I.D., K.I.Ducation, Action K.I.D. and K.I.D. Grid. These technology based systems are designed to teach cognitive, reading and writing skills, including language, creativity, logic, communication skills, eye-hand coordination, multi-sensory abilities, musical abilities, reading comprehension Reading comprehension can be defined as the level of understanding of a passage or text. Educators and teachers from the community will be trained at the center on how to use the systems and equipment for teaching.

Many private schools as well as other groups in Rockland County plan to utilize the programs offered at the Center.
