Mark your calendars now for the 16th International Conference on Outdoor Recreation and Education, one of the outdoor industry's most effective and favorite networking events for professionals, students and industry vendors. Being held this year in Charleston, S.C., the conference addresses issues common to college, university, community, military and other not-for-profit outdoor recreation and education programs. There are dozens of workshops, keynote presentations and seminars designed with the outdoor recreation and education professional in mind.

Preconference workshops begin on Oct. 26. The general session will be headlined the next evening by Dr. Daniel Dustin, author, wilderness philosopher and the Frost professor in HPER HPER Health, Physical Education and Recreation  at Florida International University Florida International University, primarily at University Park, Miami; coeducational; chartered 1965, opened 1972.
