Leaping legends: Dance Magazine Awards 2006.Being at the 2006 Dance Magazine Awards among the stars of the dance world--former, present, and eternal--caused high emotion all around. In addition to the cast of awardees, all of the evening's presenters--Suki Schorer, Kevin McKenzie Kevin Alexander McKenzie (born July 16, 1948 in Pretoria) was a South African cricketer from 1966/67 to 1986/87. ABT's Jared Matthews and Yuriko Kajiya performed a Coppelia pas de deux pas de deux (French; “step for two”) Dance for two performers. A characteristic part of classical ballet, it includes an adagio, or slow dance, by the ballerina and her partner; solo variations by the male dancer and then the ballerina; and a coda, or in honor of their teacher David Howard. When presenting to Howard, Makarova remarked that he was her "third eye."
