Leaping legends: Dance Magazine Awards 2006.


Being at the 2006 Dance Magazine Awards among the stars of the dance world--former, present, and eternal--caused high emotion all around. In addition to the cast of awardees, all of the evening's presenters--Suki Schorer, Kevin McKenzie Kevin Alexander McKenzie (born July 16, 1948 in Pretoria) was a South African cricketer from 1966/67 to 1986/87. He never got to play Test cricket like his son Neil due to South Africa's apartheid ban but became a successful batsman in first class cricket. , Charles Reinhart, Carmen Carmen

De Lavallade deemed her "St. Joan of Philadelphia," and the gorgeous Philadanco dancers performed an excerpt of a Ron Brown piece, For Mother, in her honor.
