Let Me Marinade You

If you eat meat, buy it raw and unseasoned. Then pick up a bottle of Mrs. Dash's new marinades or, better yet, try one of these four, which were created by Nutrition Action's Tamara Goldis. The saltiest of the lot adds just 160 milligrams of sodium to each 3-ounce serving of meat, fish, poultry poultry, domesticated fowl kept primarily for meat and eggs; including birds of the order Galliformes, e.g., the chicken, turkey, guinea fowl, pheasant, quail, and peacock; and natatorial (swimming) birds, e.g., the duck and goose. , firm tofu tofu

Soft, bland, custardlike food product made from soybeans. Believed to date from China's Han dynasty (206 BC–AD 220), tofu is today an important source of protein in the cuisines of East and Southeast Asia.
