LLC - Logical Link Control
, announced today that the Chicago-based Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute (CIREI CIREI Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute ) has selected SRC to build an intranet allowing its 11,000 members free access to critical business information and analytical tools, including complex demographic reporting and mapping information that previously was very expensive or available only to practitioners in very large firms.

Called The Site To Do Business Online (www.stdbonline.com), the system will draw heavily on SRC's expertise in Web-based micromarketing to provide users with information and interactive maps on population trends, household incomes, consumer expenditures and other data essential for making sound commercial real estate decisions.

SRC's proprietary engine will enable users to drill down as far as the block group level, producing highly accurate reports and maps that can aid decision making. Requests will be submitted on easy-to-use online forms, and answers will be instantly delivered to the user's browser in the form of presentation-quality maps and reports.

In addition to serving as a valuable demographic resource, the site will offer real estate financial analysis tools, property listing services, real estate news services and financial market reports, property comparables, planned construction data, business location listings by business type and other factors, and a wide range of other helpful information. This will give CIREI members a central source for information that is currently dispersed dis·perse

"Quick access to the right information can make or break a deal in today's market, and our Site To Do Business Online will give our members the ability to obtain that information faster than anyone in the industry without the CCIM credentials CREDENTIALS, international law. If the state or prince receive the minister, he can be received only in the quality attributed to him in his credentials. ," said CIREI 1999 President Allen Feltman, CCIM. "We expect that it will spur greater numbers of practitioners to seek CCIM designation, which in turn will raise the level of professionalism in the industry."

Scheduled to debut in October, the CIREI site will be the largest demographic-based intranet created to date by SRC. The company has also built similar solutions for clients including fast-food giant AFC Enterprises AFC Enterprises NASDAQ: AFCE is the Atlanta-headquartered company that owns Popeye's Chicken & Biscuits. "We selected SRC for this project because they're light-years or, more aptly, Internet-years ahead of everybody else in the speed of their engine, their mapping capabilities and their understanding of our demographic needs as well as our broader requirements," said Jay Lucas, CCIM, who headed the task force responsible for the site. "Their expertise in delivering demographic and mapping information over the Internet will change the way people in commercial real estate do business."

"The Site To Do Business Online will not only give users unprecedented demographic capabilities but also bring together all of the databases and resources required to do business in the commercial real estate industry for the first time," said Dean Stoecker, President of SRC. "This is an ideal application for our demographic data retrieval technology as well as a groundbreaking project for the real estate community."
