PeopleSoft Inc. (Nasdaq:PSFT) today announced that several leading higher education institutions have rapidly deployed PeopleSoft 8 pure internet applications including, Student Administration, Contributor Relations, Human Resource Management, and the Campus Portal. The PeopleSoft solutions will enable faculty, students, staff, and alumni to create a collaborative campus by providing access to academic, administrative, fundraising, and human resource information in real time.

The University of Louisville, University of Maryland, Grand Rapids Community College and Soka University of America have implemented the full suite of PeopleSoft 8 solutions for higher education including Student Administration, Contributor Relations, Human Resource Management and the Campus Portal. Three California State University campuses (Sonoma State, CSU Fresno and California Maritime Academy) have deployed PeopleSoft 8 Human Resources applications and select Student Administration modules. These three CSU campuses expect to complete implementation of the Student Administration and portal solutions by September 2002.
