Leadership for results.

Leadership is a critical factor in the success of any organization. Effective leadership enables the effective implementation of strategy, and a company can't survive without this.

Leadership for Results: Removing barriers to success for people, projects, and processes, draws from a diverse range of research, and distils the information gleaned into three key leadership behavioural practices. Author Tom Barker, a Toronto-based management consultant, labels these three themes Intentions, Influence, and Information, and the actions associated with them are described and illustrated through a number of examples.

The goal of the book is to help the reader achieve common purposes, collective decisions, and lasting results. It offers useful summaries after each chapter for quick review, and each chapter is succinct, making it particularly easy to read and reference on the go.
