On March 4th, Leader Mining is scheduled to start a 1,200 meter (22 hole) core drilling program within the Emory Zone at the Cogburn Magnesium Project.

The program is designed to define a high-grade surface mineable magnesium reserve as part of the Production Feasibility Study The analysis of a problem to determine if it can be solved effectively. This definition core drilling is designed to block out about 15 million tonnes of magnesium ore, adequate to supply feedstock for a 120,000 metric ton per year high-quality magnesium metal production refinery for 15 years.

This 50 meter spaced definition drilling is focused on 300 meters strike length of the 20 km long intrusive body. Earlier wide spaced drilling by Leader Mining (December 2001) indicates the presence of other similar zones along the intrusive body.
