Lawyer, lobbyist merge operations to broaden reach.


A lobbyist and an attorney have joined forces to create a Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  firm that provides expertise in their two fields.

"There are firms that combine law and lobbying, but very few to the degree that we are promoting that combination," said Cynthia McClain-Hill, who merged her boutique law firm A boutique law firm is a collection of attorneys specializing in a very narrow area of the law.
