Red Wing Shoe Company licensed Lawson Software's (Nasdaq: LWSN) Business Intelligence suite to harness more information from its ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) An integrated information system that serves all departments within an enterprise. Evolving out of the manufacturing industry, ERP implies the use of packaged software rather than proprietary software written by or for one customer.  applications, streamline its reporting functionality and improve the organization's overall performance. This is the first agreement, following the recent merger of Lawson and Intentia International AB, in which a former Intentia customer is implementing additional Lawson applications onto its ERP infrastructure. The international shoe maker licensed the applications in Lawson's fourth quarter of fiscal year 2006, which ended May 31, 2006.
