Lawdex Launches Electronic Filing in California Superior Court; Firm Opens Access Through Key E-File Initiative in State's Capital.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Premiere e-filing provider Lawdex Corporation announced today its successful live electronic filing into Sacramento County's Superior Court. Sacramento represents the first court in the state, through its Unlawful Detainer The act of retaining possession of property without legal right.

The term unlawful detainer ordinarily refers to the conduct of a tenant who is in possession of an apartment or leased property and refuses to leave the premises upon the expiration or termination of the
Unit, to initiate open-access electronic filing available to all filers on the web.

The California Administrative Office of the Courts has initiated e-filing in Sacramento as part of a wider effort to electronically integrate court record systems for every jurisdiction in the state. State developers and proponents expect this effort to near completion within five years. In addition to its e-file provisions, the project will allow all of the state's courts to share case management records electronically.

Today's filing represents Lawdex's continued expansion in the California state market. Last fall, Lawdex signed an extended agreement to provide e-filing services for the state's largest attorney services association, The California Association of Photocopiers and Process Servers (CAPPS CAPPS Computer-Assisted Passenger Prescreening System (DHS)
CAPPS California Association of Private Postsecondary schools
