Matthew Fragner has joined the Santa Monica office of Liner Yankelevitz Sunshine & Regenstreif LLP. Joining the firm as a partner, Fragner was previously a partner at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal. He had previously served as director of investments and general counsel at Citadel Capital Management Group.

Greenberg Traurig has announced that Henry Holmes and Steven Katleman, have joined as shareholders of its motion picture and television division. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Holmes has negotiated deals for George Foreman and Chuck Norris. Katleman has represented artists in various areas of television programming.

Alison Platt and Duncan Crabtree-Ireland, of the Screen Actors Guild legal department, have been promoted to senior litigation counsel and deputy assistant general counsel, respectively.

Stephen A. Bauman has been named of counsel to Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP in its family wealth planning practice. Evan Kent has joined the firm as a partner in its intellectual property and technology practice. Bauman is a past president of the Beverly Hills Estate Planning Council. Kent represents clients in intellectual property matters, and has experience in the procurement and administration of trademarks, patents and copyrights.

Brette Simon will be joining the law firm of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP as special counsel, and will be working as a member of several teams within the corporate practice group, including mergers and acquisitions, public companies and technology. Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Simon practiced corporate law at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and O'Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles.
