Ronald N. Jacobi has joined Bryan Cave LLP's entertainment, sports and media practice as Of Counsel. Jacobi had been a member of the corporate practice group and co-chair of the entertainment practice group at Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker.

Michael Seeman has joined Pircher Nichols & Meeks as an associate in the real estate department of the firm's Los Angeles office. He was previously an associate at Jeffer Mangels Butler & Marmaro LLP.

John R. Loevenguth and John C. Bonilla have joined Schulze Haynes & Co. Loevenguth, a certified public accountant, serves as a director in the litigation and corporate recovery areas. Bonilla, an attorney, is a senior consultant in the litigation/technology consulting areas.

David Pastenak, a partner in law firm Pasternak Pasternak & Patton, has been elected president of the board of Bet Tzedek, a non-profit law center serving low-income Angelenos.

Manatt Phelps & Phillips LLP has hired Gregory N. Pimstone as partner in the law firm's Los Angeles office. Pimstone, previously a partner at Latham & Watkins LLP, practices in health care, unfair competition and general business litigation.

Frank D. Schwertfeger has joined Gilchrist & Rutter as a partner. Schwertfeger, who will work in the firm's business advisory practice, was most recently a shareholder with Greenberg Traurig LLP.
