Law firm expands at 450 Park.Colliers ABR, Inc. announced that Wolf, Block, Schorr & Solis-Cohen, LLP, a Pennsylvania limited liability partnership, has leased 44,370 s/f at 250 Park Avenue. Wolf Block, whose lease was set to expire in 2007, chose to renew early and expand from their current 31,662 s/f space. David L. Hoffman, Jr., executive managing director; Robert L. Billingsley, Vice Chairman; and Wendy Miller, managing director, all of Colliers ABR represented the building owner. Rob Lowe and John Cefaly of Cushman & Wakefield represented Wolf Block. "This deal represents the continued expansion of law firms in New York City and underscores the inherent cost savings of renewing a commercial lease versus constructing new space and moving to a new location," said David Hoffman. "We were happy to accommodate Wolf Block's growth needs within the building." The deal was made possible by the early surrender of an outgoing not-for-profit which bought out of its remaining obligation, the early termination of another lease at 250 Park Avenue, the relocation and expansion of another existing tenant and the relocation of the building office. These transactions were instrumental in freeing up sufficient space for Wolf Block. |
